Pippa Davies
Pippa has over 10 years of financial services experience, having started her career at an international law firm within fund administration. Pippa moved into compliance for funds and regulated businesses and previously held the key compliance roles for an international Bank in Jersey, looking after the largest hedge fund platform in the Channel Islands, real estate and private equity funds. Pippa also assisted in cross jurisdictional projects, risk management for the bank and managed a number of regulatory visits from both the JFSC and NFA.
Pippa has held over 250 regulated positions and has significant experience of acting at Board level for regulated financial services firms, real estate, private equity and hedge funds.
Most recently Pippa spent 2 years building a fledgling funds business, hiring a team of 16 people, implementing systems and controls, focusing on business development and new structure set up. Having held both compliance and fund administration positions, Pippa managed the day to day development of the business, including board responsibilities, team management, client relationships, financials and risk management.
Pippa is a member of the International Compliance Association having attained a distinction in the ICA International Compliance diploma, following completion of the International Funds Certificate earlier in her career. Pippa supports the development of women in business and founded the Lean In Jersey circle with now over 100 members. She was awarded Young Director of the year 2017 from the IoD in Jersey and was shortlisted for the UK IoD awards in September 2017.
